Damien English and Laara Pritchard have received Student of the Year awards from the Metropolitan South Institute of Tafe (MSIT).
The two Year Eleven students have completed TAFE Hospitality courses as part of Calvary's Partner Program.
Damien completed Certificate II in Hospitality (Kitchen Operations) and Laara completed Certificate II in Hospitality.
Both Laara and Damien were Students of the Year in their respective subject areas.
The awards were based on attendance, class involvement and dedication, passion and interaction with other students.
Laara was commended by MSIT for her great work ethic.
Damien also studies hospitality at Calvary and his teachers have commended him for consistently challenging himself and striving to excel.
Calvary’s Partner Program sees students undertake a TAFE course or vocational education training one day a week as part of their Year 12 Certificate. |
