Logan Uniting Church has a clear purpose: “Drawing people into a life transforming relationship with Jesus Christ.” As a ministry of Logan Uniting Church, Calvary Christian College lives this out by bringing together education and discipleship.

Education is one of the key means God uses to help people grow and change. The church from inception has understood the power of education and has always been at the forefront of education.  
 

In our contemporary culture however we seem to make the mistake of thinking education alone can solve all the problems of our society and world. As Christians we know that genuine transformation is the work of the Holy Spirit. We also know that families and societies change as people change.

At Calvary we seek to help people discover Jesus as Lord and Saviour and in trusting him, allow the Holy Spirit to fulfil Romans 12: 2: “Do not be conformed to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and prove what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (Todays New International Version). This process of trusting Jesus and allowing His Spirit and word to transform us is called discipleship.

At Calvary Christian College we have the unique privilege of bringing quality education and Christian discipleship together into one powerful experience that helps our children and young people discover and live in (and live out) God’s will and purposes. What an awesome activity to be part of.
