At Calvary we have pure breed Suffork sheep and pure breed Dexter cattle which we care for, look after and show off!
We have students who are a part of the sheep and cattle teams. The students learn to handle, look after and show the stock of at the shows around the different rural towns. We attend approximately 11 shows throughout the year, where the students compete against other schools and studs. Some of the shows are over nighters others are day trips and the Brisbane show is a week long event.
Our students enjoy watching and learning from all the demonstrations and events that are offered at the shows and the team supports each other well and have a strong comradery.
