Student Services » Counselling Service

The following positions within the College provide Pastoral student Counselling:

  • Spiritual Director
  • Middle and Senior School Student Counsellor
  • Junior School Chaplain
  • Other professional practitioners who visit the College

Through the above positions, the College provides a professional counselling referral service to professional agencies recommended by the College, in particular the Logan Uniting Church Counselling Service.  The College also provides family and parenting support by way of one on one interviews, Triple P Positive Parenting courses and parent seminars.

Middle and Senior School counselling is offered through the College Counselor.  Many important changes occur during school years as a young person develops physically, mentally, and emotionally.  Times of transition such as movement into Middle School may be particularly challenging.  Personal counselling may help a young person during these years to understand themselves better, become more motivated for school based subjects and to achieve realistic goals.

The current Pastoral Counselling team is made up of:

Pastor Jim Haak (Spiritual Director) Bth, Grad Dip Counselling
Mrs Ros Price (Middle and Senior School Counsellor) BA Pysch, Cert Expressive therapies.
