Year 3 Calvary students received specialist input from Linda Parnwell in preparation for their ballet performance at the end of year Prep to Year 3 Celebration.

Linda, one of Calvary’s foundation students, is a Senior Physiotherapist at Logan Hospital and an extremely accomplished ballet dancer.

She showed the Year Three girls some new dance techniques and gave some choreography ideas for their ballet performance piece.

Linda attended Calvary from Year Eight to Year Twelve and was part of the first graduating class in 1996. In her time at Calvary, she was the lead dancer in all the College’s productions.

Linda told the students how much Calvary had grown and changed, as there were only five buildings when she attended the school.

Calvary now hosts over 17 buildings at the Carbrook Campus including the brand new Community Centre that seats 730 and boasts a community café - Café Connect.

The Springwood campus has 9 buildings and together the Springwood and Carbrook campuses are home to over 1200 students.
