Calvary Senior Business students today thanked Caroline Ting, local licensee from McDonald’s Bryants Road and Logan Hyperdome, for her financial and personal support with running their virtual enterprise.

As part of the Year Eleven and Twelve business course, the McDonald’s virtual business program enables students to set up and run a business with a manager and employees to promote and market goods and services in a virtual economy.

The simulated business trades with TAFE colleges and other high schools throughout Australia.

The program offer students hands-on practical experience and develops employable skills through working in a real business environment .

The virtual enterprise is a very engaging delivery of a business course and the students really enjoy learning with it.

The students presented Caroline with a gift to thank her for the advice and financial and personal support over the last two years.

She has visited the class several times each year to participate in role plays and give real world business advice.

Her business experience and expertise has enriched the students’ learning.
