It is with sadness that I advise you that Tim Rogers, the first Principal of our College, passed away yesterday morning in Hong Kong. He died suddenly of a heart attack while he was out running. Tim was 56 years old.
Tim was the Principal Calvary Christian College from 1986 to mid - 1997. He had a passion for God and serving Him, and was a visionary and great pioneer in Christian schooling. He introduced the God-centred curriculum at our College, was responsible for the building program at Springwood campus and established the Carbrook campus. He leaves behind his wife, Sue, and daughter, Daniella.
Tim was the Principal of Island Christian Academy, Hong Kong, where he commenced after Easter this year.
