Calvary students produce publication

Date Added: 13/08/2014
A dedicated team of approximately 15 students have come together to create the first ever Student Publication, which aims to showcase student’s skills and talents.

The Publication features a collection of artwork, photographs and written pieces, all submitted by students of the college. Whist the publication is yet to be released, the committee hopes it will become an annual event.

A representative of the publication has stated that they are “very excited to show the incredible talent and hard work that Calvary students put into their art and written pieces”.

Whilst this is the first year the Student Publication has been attempted, Calvarystudents have been extremely enthusiastic andinvolved in the process of bringing ‘the dream’ to life. The first semester of 2014 saw committee members plan the entire publication, including theme, name of the committee, marketing strategies and the layout of the publication as well as commenting on pieces of work submitted. The SPC committee plans to offer the publication for sale later in the year, and welcomes support from the local and wider community. Information on pricing and purchasing methods will be released closer to the sale of the publication.
