For the third year in a row a Calvary Christian College team has made it to the finals of the Beenleigh Rotary Debating Competition. This year a tie for second place, (between the two Calvary teams) saw the Calvary A team progress to the finals, on count back.
Congratulations to the team made up of year 12 students Katie Hodgson, Douglas Thomson and Jordan English. Other awards were also presented for involvement, and Chauntelle Price (a member of the Calvary B team) was presented with a special certificate recognising three ‘Speaker of the Night’ awards across the season. |
