Calvary Christian College U15 boys Futsal team qualified for the Australasian Cup Futsal (Vikings) Tournament by winning the South Qld Champion of Champions School boys Tournament held late July this year.
The Australian Titles were held last weekend (4-6 November) at the Runaway Bay Sports Complex on the Gold Coast. The Calvary team placed 3rd after the first round of matches; qualifying them for the finals.
After winning the initial knockout semi-final, the boys were faced with having to beat Corinda High. After conceding the first two goals Calvary fought back, led by Luke Bearman, to win 4-3. Well done to the Calvary lads for making it two from two! |
