Calvary student Caitlyn Smith took part in the recent Australian All Schools Championships at UQ, St Lucia. Competitors from across Australia took part in the competition with each student only allowed to take part in two events, excluding the relays.
Caitlyn competed in the 100m and 200m events as an under 16 competitor (outside her u/15 age group). She achieved personal best times in the 100m and the 200m with a silver medal in the 200m.
She was also a member of the squad for the women's under 16 1000m Swedish sprint medley. This team won the relay receiving a gold medal and breaking the record in the process!
