Calvary Business Week

Date Added: 19/04/2012
Calvary Business Week is a Business Simulation Program run for Year Ten students during Camp Week. Students are divided into ten groups of approximately ten people and have to come up with a business concepts to bring to market.

Apart from designing their concept, they had to create a television commercial, design branding and slogans, assemble a trade display, write a business proposal and present a venture pitch.

This year a wide variety of business ideas were presented ranging from vitamin supplements, to advertising firms, photography businesses and catering companies. The winning team ‘Flick in a Tick’ had an innovative concept regarding drive through DVD hire, incorporating general store elements.

The Year Ten students must be commended on their enthusiastic participation, and the exceptionally professional manner in which they carried themselves in terms of their  business attire and conduct for the duration of the week.
